Young is Northwest Savings Bank Technology Officer

WARREN, Pa., May 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Andrew "Drew" Young has joined Northwest Savings Bank as Senior Vice President - Technology Officer. Steven G. Fisher, Executive Vice President, Banking Services Group, made the announcement on behalf of the bank. In his new position, Mr. Young is responsible for aligning technology and strategic objectives to improve operating performance.

A 29-year veteran of the banking and technology industries, Mr. Young brings experience and accomplishments from those industries to Northwest. In a prior position, he was successful in instituting strategic technology planning, performance and measurement programs, cost control, and process improvement initiatives.

Mr. Young earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Farleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey.

Before accepting a corporate position with Northwest in Warren, PA, Mr. Young was active as a Troop Committee member for the Boy Scouts and was a Coach and Assistant Coach for AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) Basketball in his community.

Mr. Young and his wife, Ruth, have relocated to Russell from Richboro, Pennsylvania. They are the parents of three college-age children.
