WARREN, Pa., June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Philip M. Tredway has been
elected to the board of Northwest Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: NWSB), the parent
company of Northwest Savings Bank. William Wagner, Chairman and CEO of

As a Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Tredway's primary
responsibility is to provide oversight to the activities of the bank's
management team and its strategic direction.
Mr. Tredway is President and CEO of Erie Molded Plastics in Erie,
Pennsylvania. He founded the company in April 1982. Erie Molded Plastics
specializes in the production of close tolerance plastic parts for industries
including house wares, pharmaceutical, medical, electronic, computer,
cosmetics, and lawn and garden equipment. In 2007, the company will celebrate
its 25th anniversary of operation. Located on West Ridge Road in Erie, Erie
Molded Plastics employs 27 employees who work with the most
technologically-advanced equipment in the industry. In addition to
manufacturing, the company provides high-speed assembly, packaging, and
decorating services for its customers.
Mr. Tredway has served as a Board Member of the Manufacturers Association
of Northwest Pennsylvania since 1991. He has been Chairman, Executive
Committee Member, and Insurance Committee Member of the Association. Since
1998, he has been a Board Member of the National Association of Manufacturers.
He is a former Chairman and Board Member of the Northwest Pennsylvania Chapter
of the Society of Plastics Engineers. He contributed his industry expertise to
the Penn State University, Behrend Campus Plastic Technology Program for which
he was a member of the Advisory Board from 1992 to 1997. Mr. Tredway was a
Delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business in 1996.
Mr. Tredway has been a Board Member of the Hamot Health Foundation since
1994. He served as the Foundation's Chairman from 2000 to 2002. He is in his
sixth year as a Board Member of the Erie Community Foundation. He served as a
Board Member for Perseus House from 1990 to 2006 and co-chaired its capital
campaign in 2001. Mr. Tredway was a Member of the Council of Fellows at the
Behrend Campus of Penn State University from 1996 to 2002 and served as a
Board Member for the Regional Cancer Center from 2003 to 2005.
