WARREN, Pa., May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- David E. Westerburg has been
promoted to Senior Vice President and Manager of the Operations Division and
the Business Services Division of Northwest Savings Bank. Steven G. Fisher,
Executive Vice President, Banking Services Group, made the announcement.

As Manager of the Operations Division, Mr. Westerburg will focus on goals
and objectives to improve operating performance, service levels, and the
development of staff to support the bank's products and services. He is also
responsible for the enhancement and expansion of competitive services.
His areas of responsibility include Administrative Services, Operations
Development, Deposit Operations, Check Services, IRA Services, Internet
Banking for retail and business customers, Call Center and Call Center
Lending, Bankline (24/7 telephone banking system), ATM network and surcharge
Free Alliances, ACH Services, and STAR/Debit and ATM Card programs for retail
and business customers.
His responsibilities with the Business Services Division include expanding
existing business relationships and acquiring new relationships by providing
superior customer service and products and services for the marketplace.
Mr. Westerburg is in his seventh year with Northwest Savings Bank. He
joined the bank with 27 years of bank operations experience. During his
tenure with Northwest, he has served as Assistant Vice President and Manager
of the Direct Banking Department; Vice President of the Operations Division,
Direct Banking Department; and as Senior Vice President and Manager of the
Direct Banking Department. His management skills with internal projects have
allowed the bank to significantly improve operating performance.
Mr. Westerburg is a graduate of Bryant and Stratton Business Institute,
Pennsylvania School of Banking, BAI Retail University, and the AMA Cash
Management School.
He serves on Northwest's Asset/Liability Management, Marketing and
Business Development, and Compliance Committees. He is a member of the STAR
Advisory Board.
Mr. Westerburg is a member of the Kane Area School Board.
He and his wife, Kathy, live in Kane.
