WARREN, Pa., May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Robert Bablak, Jr. has been
promoted to Senior Vice President and Manager of the Community Banking
Division of Northwest Savings Bank. Steven G. Fisher, Executive Vice
President, Banking Services Group, made the announcement.

With his promotion, Mr. Bablak is responsible for the performance of
Northwest's community banking offices and provides oversight to the bank's
eight geographic regions in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Maryland, and
Florida. He will support and provide guidance to the Region Presidents in
executing business plans that improve growth, increase customer relationships
and the quality of service, and improve operating efficiency.
Mr. Bablak is a twenty-four year veteran of Northwest Savings Bank. He
began as a Management Trainee. From 1983 to 1992, he served as Assistant
Manager, Manager, and Area Manager. In 1992, he was promoted to Assistant
Vice President; to Vice President in 1996, and in 2006 was promoted to Senior
Vice President of the Community Banking Division. He has made significant
contributions to the Senior Management Team and Community Banking.
With his promotion, Mr. Bablak continues to serve on the bank's
Asset/Liability Management, Marketing and Business Development, Loan, and
Compliance Committees.
Mr. Bablak earned a degree in Finance from Clarion University. He is a
graduate of the Central Atlantic School of Advanced Banking at Bucknell
University.
Mr. Bablak and his wife, Debbie, live in Russell, Pennsylvania, with their
sons, Rob, Will, and Tom.
